We will be participating in a special service project to help support the preschool students who attend our hospital program. Please take a moment to look over the attached flyer for more information. We are excited to teach our Tigers the importance of kindness, giving, and helping others!

Veterans Day!

Mrs. Nacole’s 3rd Grade Class Performed Character Trait Surgery! Our third graders put on their thinking caps and became character trait surgeons! 🧑🏽‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️ Using The Tales of King Midas from our Benchmark Advance curriculum, students closely examined how a character’s traits changed throughout the story and used text evidence to support their thinking. On Thursday, our future surgeons completed their “pre-op” worksheets to prepare for the big procedure. Then, on Friday, they performed their character trait surgeries, carefully analyzing the text and identifying how and why the character changed. 📝🔍 The student engagement was AMAZING! Our learners were actively involved, thinking critically, collaborating, and bringing literacy to life in a fun and meaningful way! We love seeing our students excited about learning while strengthening their reading comprehension and text evidence skills!

First Club Day of the year was a success! And to end the day with Bible club! BES is the Best!
